Through an open call sent out across the boroughs of Greenwich, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest, Memory Marathon invited participants to attend a series of workshops to explore and practice their memories prior to the film shoot on the day of 7th November.
The day of filming on Saturday 7th November took place in glorious Autumn sunshine, beginning at 7am at Thamesmead in Greenwich, and tracing a route through Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest.
The route ended 26 miles and 12 hours later at the gates of the Olympic Park in Stratford.
A party was held on the evening of the film shoot on Saturday 7th November at Stratford Town Hall, where each participant received their Memory Marathon certificate, presented by Simon Pope.
